IIC / The proprietary discovery instrument
Make the work legible.
Find where to begin.
The Institutional Intelligence Compiler helps reconstruct how consequential work actually gets done, using the evidence your company authorizes. Founder-led interpretation and human review turn the reconstruction into a decision about what is worth changing.
Discuss assessment fitDelivered through founder-guided installation and discovery in your own Microsoft/Azure.
Software informs
the decision.
People make it.
IIC is proprietary discovery software applied with founder-led interpretation. The engagement starts with a bounded question, the Microsoft sources your administrators authorize, and the right operating and economic reviewers.
It is not an instant scan or a self-service license. Scope, permissions, and review are deliberate steps with people accountable for each. A working reconstruction still needs your correction and independent validation.
IIC examines how work moves through the organization. It is not an employee monitoring or performance tool, and it does not score, rank, or optimize individuals.
How institutional discovery works
From your authorization
to an engineering handoff.
The required product journey. Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and Entra are mandatory together for first live qualification. You authorize the boundary; IIC discovers valuable work. Actual qualification remains a gate, not a claim made here.
Guided installation
The Launchpad guides installation inside your own Microsoft/Azure environment. Your administrators approve provisioning changes before execution; the customer runtime remains yours.
Four-source Microsoft discovery
Installed IIC collects from authorized Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and Entra resources automatically and read-only. All four are mandatory together for first live qualification. You do not assemble exports or upload files to begin. Observed access and coverage remain explicit gates.
Intent-chain reconstruction
Source-linked episodes reveal how work moves across roles, systems, handoffs and exceptions. Provenance, chronology, ambiguity, contradictions and missing coverage remain visible.
Institutional intelligence
Recoverable intent chains and institutional memory compile into networks and candidate critical capabilities, with source traceability, confidence, time scope and a correction path.
Economic evaluation
Finance owns the burden, rates, potential capacity and new operating-cost assumptions. Unknown inputs remain unknown; capacity and cash savings are different outcomes.
Human review
Domain owners correct the reconstruction; named people ratify findings and make the investment decision. Models cannot ratify themselves or authorize implementation.
Verified engineering handback
Where accepted evidence warrants it, receive a verified engineering Build Pack and portable customer handback. An absent or unverified pack is reported honestly; the pack never authorizes production action.
Lifecycle
Record custody, access revocation, retention, deletion and ongoing ownership. Implementation and operational transition require separate approval and acceptance.
What your administrators do
Authorize the boundary across all four required sources, approve the Microsoft permissions in your tenant, and run one guided installation step in Azure Cloud Shell. The Launchpad prepares the package and instructions. The Launchpad is designed so that you do not clone code, write templates, or edit configuration files.
Where it runs
In your own Azure subscription, with your own Workbench. Great Transition does not hold your evidence and does not administer your cloud.
What the assessment is intended to produce
A decision you can inspect.
The important operating outcome
The work under investigation, participating roles, source coverage, and what remains unobserved.
Current burden and a proposed alternative
How context moves today, what a different capability could do, and which responsibilities people retain.
Economics with accountable assumptions
Finance-reviewed effort and rates, expected costs, and a distinction between capacity, avoided hiring, cash savings, and contribution margin.
A bounded next decision
A candidate and dependency map, proof conditions, and a recommendation to proceed, deepen, defer, or stop.
These are intended engagement outputs. No automated accuracy, financial return, or customer result is guaranteed.
An invoice ready for payment.
Without the repeated chase.
CURRENT WORK · TO INVESTIGATE
Reconstruct the burden.
Operations supplies the context. Finance chases approval. Each exception sends the work back across systems.
PROPOSED CAPABILITY
Assemble a decision-ready case.
Bring evidence and approval conditions together. Keep accountable people in control of exceptions and payment authority.
EVIDENCE NEEDED
Prove it before changing the work.
Compare accepted outcomes, human effort, exception rates, and operating costs. Finance validates the assumptions.
Is there enough evidence to fund a bounded build?
Illustrative decision format. No customer result, measured baseline, or production software screen is represented.
